Who are Bodog?

The sportsbook at Bodog is part of a wider Bodog brand which incorporates a full Vegas-style casino and state of the art poker room. The original concept of Bodog was founded in 1994 by a man named Calvin Ayre, who had the foresight to pre-empt the online gaming boom of the beginning of this millennium and by all accounts he has profited rather handsomely as a result.
Their head office is based, and licensed in, the Caribbean nation of Antigua (nice work if you can get it) and also has an Asian branch – bodog88.com –which operates under the same Bodog umbrella as the European venture – bodog.co.uk. They are also the official betting partner of English Premier League club Fulham F.C.

The Bodog Website

FBO Rating:

In short, it’s nothing flash, but that’s what we like about it. There are no gaudy gimmicks or flashing offers being thrown in your face at every click of a button, as the man from Ronseal would say ‘it does exactly what it says on the tin’. That isn’t to say that the site is just a basic shell, the aesthetics of the site are pleasing on the eye, odds are presented in a clear and concise manner and you won’t have any problems trying to navigate your way around the site which is set out in a logical and sensible way.

What’s so good about Bodog?

FBO Rating:

Well, there are quite a lot of things to like about Bodog as a matter of fact, none less so than the referral bonus scheme that they have in place. You can earn up to £30 for each and every friend that you refer to Bodog sportsbook, casino and poker room. All you need to do is refer your friends through the relevant portal (which can be found on the Bodog site) then once they have deposited a minimum of £10 you’ll earn 20% of that first deposit (up to the value of £30) for every single friend that you refer, the socialites among you could earn a small fortune.

Then there is the Bodog live betting which covers all the UK televised football games as well as a few that don’t hit our screens. The beauty of betting in-play is that you can assess how a game is panning out before parting with your hard earned dough and they have a comprehensive range of markets available at competitive odds.

Talking of competitive odds, that’s another plus point for the Bodog sportsbook in general. Across a range of markets which for football include Match Odds betting, Correct Score, Over/Under 2.5 goals and many more, they are offering odds at prices which are competitive with the rest of the industry and in some cases actually better. Although football is clearly their main focus there are also many other sports on offer such as American Football, Aussie Rules Football, Basketball, Baseball, Bikes, Boxing, Cricket, Cycling, Gaelic Games, Golf, Horse Racing, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Snooker, Speedway, Tennis, UFC and Olympics. Soap opera fans can even bet on who killed Archie Mitchell, although we can’t offer you any tips on that one here.

How’s the Bodog customer service?

FBO Rating:

You can contact Bodog via their online ‘Contact Us’ form or through their free phone customer service number which is available on their site. However, our preferred method is to use the Live Chat services which we believe all online sportsbooks should offer but unfortunately don’t. If you’re not familiar with it then it is basically like talking to a friend through MSN messenger, we find it the best way to get your problem or question across to a Bodog representative and usually results in a prompt resolution of any issues.

What payment methods to Bodog accept?

FBO Rating:

A variety of payment and withdrawal methods are accepted by Bodog depending on where you reside. If you’re a UK customer then you can rest assured that they will accept pretty much any method of payment other than an I.O.U. scribbled on the back of an envelope, let’s just say that as long as it’s legit then you can use it to deposit funds with Bodog.
