Strictly Come Dancing Betting
Strictly Come Dancing has been on our screens for a few years now and has become a real hit in the area of TV Betting. The ballroom dancing programme "Come Dancing" was always popular back in the 70s when it was presented by Bruce Forsythe.
How Strictly Come Dancing works
With Strictly Come Dancing the format is different; the pairs are made up of one celebrity and one professional dancer. Bruce Forsythe still heads the show with the assistance of presenter, Tess Daly.
During each week the celebrities and dancers are put through their paces and after many hours training the eight pairs then have to dance in front of the judges who are made up of professional dancer, Len Goodman, Arlene Phillips, the famous choreographer who has worked on many West End shows here and abroad. Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, who are also choreographers, are on the panel of judges. They give their votes but like all the reality shows including the X-Factor the watching public have the final say so the dancers hope they have done enough fancy foot work to stay in the show because the pair with the least amount of votes will have to leave.
Previous winners of Strictly Come Dancing
News reader Natasha Kaplinsky was the first celebrity to win with her partner, Brendan Cole back in 2003, since then the winners have been actress Jill Halfpenny and Darren Bennett.
Cricketer Darren Gough won it in 2005 with his dancing partner Lilia Kopylova.
2006 saw another sportsman from the Cricket Betting world take the prize, Mark Ramprakash who could easily have been mistaken for a professional dancer, he had so much natural talent on the floor and with his partner Karen Hardy won the competition very convincingly.
