George Burley and Terry Butcher don’t really look anything like Laurel and Hardy but believe me when these two get together to manage an international football team, it’s comedy gaffs all the way. Scotland face their next 2 matches at home against Macedonia on Saturday the 12th and then the following Wednesday against Holland needing to win both matches to have any glimmer of hope of qualifying for the World Cup 2010. Any football betting punter will tell you that the Macedonia game might, just be achievable for Scotland but an assured victory against a classy Dutch side brimming with confidence – don’t make me laugh.

What with the final looming this Friday (the 4th of September) you can bet none of these pretenders to the throne of BB10 winner will be wanting to be evicted so close to the finishing line. Still, it’s good TV and despite this series of BB being a complete ratings disaster for Channel 4 it’s not really been that bad compared to past BB’s.
