The brand new Npower Championship 2011/12 season gets underway next weekend (Saturday, 6 August 2011) and it promises to be as tough and exciting as any previous campaigns.

There’s one than big fight happening this weekend, aside from the Amir Khan v Zab Judah showdown we also have the British and Commonwealth heavyweight title decider between Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury @ Wembley Arena (10pm Sat 23rd July). The fight will be shown live on Channel 5 on Saturday night as interest between these two British heavyweights begins to peak after some bad tempered previous metting

Currently the Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury betting is pretty tight with British heavyweight champion, Derek Chisora, just edging it in the betting stakes. This Saturday (23rd July) at Ascot sees the eagerly awaited King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes take place. Amir Khan is looking to stretch his unbeaten run to eight fights when he takes on American, Zab Judah on July the 23rd. It’s an intruiging contest that sees both boxers fight for the WBA & IBF light welterweight titles. And despite the bookies having Khan as the pre-fight favourite, most boxing betting fans think this fight is a little more closer to call.

Khan has been in the press claiming that he is only three fights away from Boxing immortality.
