The National Hunt Chase season rolls into Sandown Park this weekend for the Tingle Creek Christmas Festival with most punters getting ready for the Tingle Creek Chase betting on Saturday.

Last year, the Tingle Creek Chase betting, suffered as the beginning of a very severe winter crippled the National Hunt Chase season, with eventually the race taking place at Cheltenham a couple of weeks later. However, this year, the weather has been rather mild (if a bit wet) and will not interrupt the 2Mile, 13 fence, 2011 Tingle Creek Chase.

Liverpool v Man City Betting

Hennessy Gold Cup Betting

As November comes to a halt, the attention of most of horse racing betting fans turns to the Hennessy Gold Cup this weekend. This Grade 3 National Hunt chase will be run over 3 miles and historically normally suits horses around the 7 year age mark.

Current pre-race Hennessy Gold Cup betting odds favour Aiteen Thirtythree, trained by Paul Nicholls and ridden by Ruby Walsh. This 7 year old came 2nd out of three last month when he finished behind Somersby in the Betfair Graduation Chase (2m 4f) despite leading three quarters of the race lacked the pace to finish with 4 jumps left.

X Factor Elimination Odds

Well, we finally said goodbye to Kitty last week before she belted out her farewell bawl and got bear-hugged by Lady GaGa at which point the pair of them then went off to get headless (sorry, legless) in under an hour. Kitty’s departure means that Louis has no acts left in the competition with still a handful of live shows remaining.

The World and European Champions come to Wembley this Saturday (12th of November) to face ‘The Three Lions’ as England start their preparations for Euro 2012. It’s hardly been the most ‘football focussed’ build-ups to a match with the ‘poppy row’ consuming media coverage. Thankfully, that dispute has been settled and commonsense won the day – now we can all concentrate on the England v Spain fixture instead.
