After what has seemed like a winter of discontent for Formula 1 Championship at last the season is about to start again this Sunday and we can all concentrate on what is happeing on the racetrack instead of the financial woes of the industry. Melbourne is the setting for the Australian Grand Prix, with the race taking place on Sunday the 29th March, 07:00 hours British time.

Lewis Hamilton, of course, must be relishing the chance to get off to a great start and defend his title. However, Massa, Raikkonen, Kubica and co will be making sure that the Brit has a very hard time on the racetrack. This year, there will be no David Coultard, after the Scot took retirement, and thankfully Jenson Button is still on the grid after Brawn GP took over the cash-strapped Honda.

Many, Formula 1 Betting fans will be looking at Ferrari’s, Felipe Massa, as the real threat to Hamilton’s success. The little Brazilian, will want to heal the pain of losing the Drivers Championship at the final corner in last years epic climax. Of course there are others as well, but it would be interesting to see if Nelson Piquet Jr can start emulating some of his late Fathers successes after a rather poor display in his rookie year.
