England in Control To Regain The Ashes
Tell me, are England’s bowlers just so devastating or are Australia’s batting so woefully underpar? I’d like to think it’s the former as England cruise onwards after a more-than-convincing display against Australia in Day 3 of The Ashes Fourth Test.
The current cricket betting odds for England walking away with the Fourth Test pretty much reinforces the outcome of this Boxing Day Test. England are, at best bet, odds of 1/1000 from Victor Chandler, to finish as victors at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Ricky Ponting, Australia’s Captain, must be wondering where it all went wrong after his team emerged victorious from the Third Test to tie The Ashes series and rekindle Australia’s national love afffair with cricket. However, Perth was soon forgotten as Australia were humbled by superior bowling action from England and were all out for a whimpering 98.
England then showed the stunned Aussies just how to rack up the runs before Ricky Ponting finally lost it and verbally attacked the Umpire – even after Hi-Tec Video replays proved the Umpire was right – that could cost him his Captaincy.

England Regain The Ashes Betting
Is there such a sure thing in Ashes betting that would make you wager a quarter of a million pounds on england regaining The Ashes down under? According to Sporting Life one punter is 100% sure that this will be the inevtiable outcome he has staked £250,000 – the biggest bet in Ashes history.
It seems that the punter is not alone in his thinking as most of the early betting money is being placed on England to come away with The Ashes on Australian soil for the first time since 1986/7.
The first Test gets underway on Thursday the 25th of November 2010. Surprisingly, the bookies fancy Australia to win the opening test. It just goes to show that not everyone is getting hyped under The Ashes fever. The memory of the 5-0 whitewash on Australian soil a few years back is still lingering.
Personally, I think The Ashes will be a much closer contest than some expect. England have grown in International cricket in recent years while Australia’s demise has run a parallel course. Most definetely the elements will play in to Australia’s favour but I still see the series finishing 3-2 for England and regaining The Ashes for the first time in over 3 decades.

England Australia ODI Betting Preview
England will resume their One Day International Series against Australia at Old Trafford on the Sunday, 27 June. With England leading 2-0 in the series it will be a time for calm heads as Australia end to put a stop to the rot. Most England v Australia ODI betting fans must fancy England, however, to further enhance their recent superiority over the Aussies in test match cricket.
With the Ashes already in the bag, alongside the Twenty20 World Cup, English international cricket looks in very fine form indeed. If England succeed in claiming a 3-0 lead in this Series, then it will have been their first victory over Australia in ODI since 1997.
