Carnegie Cup 2011 Betting Preview
Wembley welcomes the final of the Carnegie Challenge Cup this Saturday (27th of Aug) in what has been billed as a classic encounter between Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors. The Carnegie Cup is Rugby League’s oldest cup knockout competition and this time Leeds Rhinos will be expectiong to go one better than last year’s losing finalists.

Millenium Magic Weekend Returns For 2011
After a two year absence, Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, will once again host the Millenium Magic Weekend. All seven games of the 2011 Super League opening fixtures will take place over Saturday and Sunday under the closed roof of the Millennium Stadium. It is sure to be an exciting start to the season for all 14 Super League betting teams.
It’s been seen as a positive step to move the Magic Weekend back to Cardiff and this has been highlighted by the incresed demand for ticket sales.

Rugby League World Cup 2008
This Sunday sees The Group A meeting between England and Australia in the Rugby League World Cup. It is very likely just a dress rehearsal for the final unless something drastic was to happen to either of the two competing countries. No doubt both will be battered and bruised from their encounters with New Zealand and Papa New Guinea along the way, but should ease through the group qualifying none-the-less.
