X Factor Winner Odds 2010

October 21st, 2010 by Simon

We’re into Week 3 of the X-Factor 2010 betting extravaganza and the pressure is beginning to show on some of the contestants. Last week we saw Scottish/American, Storm Lee, and his red mop exit the show alongside the poor man’s Scissor Sister wannabees, Diva Fever. Standouts from last week show were Mary Byrne, Matt Cardle (again), One Direction and surprisingly Katie Weasel, sorry Weisel.

So, what’s been happening since we last tuned in? Well, it seems that Wagner has been caught in a tape scandal, rightly named, “Wagnergate” where the Brazilian, ahem, singer, has a go at the X-Factor show, Simon Cowell and a host of others in a foul mouthed tirade. Wagner is certainly picking up a cult following akin to the jedward farse of last year.

Katie Weasel, Weisel, is the new pantomine witch according to Star magazine, yet she forgot her broomstick to lean on when she collapsed during a late-night visit to TopShop.

Soulful, Paije Richardson, will perform this weekend on X-Factor, even though the youngster has just endured the loss of his grandmother.

Finally, Cher Lloyd, is getting used to being noticed in the street, she even has her own X-Factor stalker, well, an orange midget to be truthful, seriously, you couldn’t make this stuff up.

Final 12 X Factor Betting 2010

October 5th, 2010 by Paul

If there is one program during the last few years that gets everyone talking around the water cooler, no matter if you hate it or love it, it is the ITV1 hit – The X-Factor. And what a stink it caused on Sunday night. Everything was going swimmingly, the Over 28′s were chosen, the boys and the groups also – everybody in unison and agreement as to who had been selected to sing at the Live shows. Then X-Factor betting went into meltdown when Cheryl Cole decided to put through Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissel instead of the more talented pairing of Gamu Nhengu and Treyc Cohen.

Amid an online social backlash which seen Twitter and Facebook explode with angry protests claiming the show was ‘Fix Factor‘ and claims that Cheryl Cole was racist for not selecting the two coloured girls. OK it did get stupid after awhile, especially the racist remarks. Now, it seems that Cole was advised not to put Gamu through because there were reports circulating that she may be deported from the country – throwing the singing competition in to a mess if Gamu had been picked for the X-Factor live shows.

Bootcamp X-Factor 2010 Betting Preview

September 21st, 2010 by Simon

One of the things that surprised me about this years X-Factor Auditions was just how much guest judge, Nicole Scherzinger, likes to get up and dance. Yep the American singer, who leads the Pussycat Dolls, and current girlfriend of F1 driver Lewis Hamiltion, sure did shine at the auditions that she has been invited back to Bootcamp by Simon Cowell to add some well-needed spice to the show with the absence of Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole.

Bootcamp is the place where the X-Factor betting begins to heat up as the auditionees who made it through the 1st phase reveal even more of their talent or lack of it, in most cases. X-Factor Bootcamp betting favourites will be trimmed down to 4 groups of 6 (Male Soloists 14-24 yrs, Female Soloists 14-24 yrs, Over 25′s and The Groups) who will continue on to the next stage of the competition – the Judges Houses where each Judge, selected to mentor over their chosen group, will trim the wannabees down to 4 per category in time for the Live X-Factor TV shows.

X Factor The Final Betting Odds

December 8th, 2009 by Simon

x-factor-logoAnd here we are, finally, at the end game for the X-Factor 2009. The three remaining contestants, Olly Murs, Joe McElderry and Stacey Solomon will be singing for a million pound recording contract this Saturday night. Who do you think is going to win? Obviously, the bookies have their favourite, little geordie, Joe McElderry, has this one in the bag, according to them.

But is it really so black and white for Joe to become this years X-Factor winner? What about snake-hips Olly Murs, he has a decent voice, not as good as Joe’s mind, and has the stage presence of Robbie Williams and the hips of a young Tom Jones. Surely, that combination can win him the hearts and minds of the public when it comes to voting this weekend. Remember, as much as Danyl (who got voted off last week) was slated in the press, he had a big following. Will they now switch their allegiance to Olly?

Final 7 X-Factor Betting Odds

November 10th, 2009 by Paul

x-factor-bettingEverywhere you look over the last few days, has The X-Factor stamped all over it – and it’s not all good either. Simon Cowell’s decision to allow John and Edward (Jedward) to sneak through via the public telephone votes, when he had the perfect opportunity to boot the twins off the competition, has not been received well with the British public. In fact the decision was so controversial that it now has TV watchdog Ofcom investigating to see if the X-Factor results are fixed.

John and Edward X-Factor Pest Control

October 27th, 2009 by Paul

john-and-edwardThe British public love a laugh, and right now there playing one of the biggest nationwide pranks on a certain Mr Cowell. Over the weekend, the X-Factors double act of John and Edward, were reported to have received the highest number of votes from the show’s phone-in poll. Quite simply, John and Edward are car crash TV! You can’t stop yourself from watching, even though you know, deep down, it’s wrong.

I fully expect, Simon Cowell, to appear on this weekends show with a Rento-Kill team beside him, ready to get these pests fully under control. Because, if Cowell doesn’t, then the X-Factor and it’s reputation is going down the drain fast! John and Edward have built up a cult following from Robbie Williams to Noel Gallagher, so getting rid of these ‘likeable pests’ might be harder than a certain Mr Cowell thinks.

2009 X-Factor Final 12 Betting Odds

October 6th, 2009 by Simon

x-factor-2009-betting-oddsAfter much deliberation, tears and Cheryl Cole (Have I Made The Right Choice) close-ups, we were finally given our final 12 acts that should keep us entertained (hopefully) over the up-and-coming winter months.

The Over-25′s were indeed the toughest category to choose from and Simon has offered up 3 male vocalists which, one feels, has the potential x-factor winner amongst them. Unfortunately, Louis Walsh, selected, as I said he would, John and Edward Grimes as sheer get under your skin factor and they’ll probably be around for about 2 or 3 weeks getting more irritating each week.

XFactor Judges Betting

September 29th, 2009 by Simon

On Sunday night passed, we saw with the rest of the nation, the X-Factor competitors trimmed to just 24 acts. Not long after that each group then found out which judge would be their mentor in the quest to become the eventual winner of this years show.

December 2nd, 2008 by Simon

This Saturday, things start getting tasty on ITV1 as we get to the semi final round of X-Factor 2008. Not that things have been quiet in previous rounds. We’ve seen judges fall out with the contestants over song choices, judges fall out with each other and the voting system go into melt down as potentially the best voices in the competition fail to make it through. So whom are we left with and what are there X-Factor semi final betting chances of winning the competition?
