John and Edward X-Factor Pest Control

October 27th, 2009 by Paul

john-and-edwardThe British public love a laugh, and right now there playing one of the biggest nationwide pranks on a certain Mr Cowell. Over the weekend, the X-Factors double act of John and Edward, were reported to have received the highest number of votes from the show’s phone-in poll. Quite simply, John and Edward are car crash TV! You can’t stop yourself from watching, even though you know, deep down, it’s wrong.

I fully expect, Simon Cowell, to appear on this weekends show with a Rento-Kill team beside him, ready to get these pests fully under control. Because, if Cowell doesn’t, then the X-Factor and it’s reputation is going down the drain fast! John and Edward have built up a cult following from Robbie Williams to Noel Gallagher, so getting rid of these ‘likeable pests’ might be harder than a certain Mr Cowell thinks.

I admit, that John and Edward are amusing, they remind me of a young Ant and Dec. In fact that’s the view of the nation I feel, and it is why most bookies have slashed their odds in winning the X-Factor 2009 betting stakes in half, just a few shows into the competition.

Granted there has been blips on these TV music talent shows through the years. For every Will Young, Girls Aloud, Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke we have had dud winners such as Michelle MCmanus, Steve Brookstein and Leon Jackson who have faded into obscurity just as quickly as they were thrust into the spotlight.

At which point in this year’s X-Factor is someone going to stand-up and say, “Look, you’ve took this too far!” Perhaps, after John and Edward have been announced winners! By which time it will be too late for everyone and the plague of John and Edward will be upon us all!

Hmmmm. Not really sure what to think about the results of the X Factor this week. Just keep wondering how long Simon will allow his hard work to be made to look like a very expensive Karaoke show. Stars in their Eyes – X Factor style. It’s actually quite sad to see the program be dragged through he mud like this, and if it’s true Simon was behind it I really don’t understand what he was thinking. WOW that graffiti art at the start when John & Edward jumped through the paper when doing the ice baby song was great, I have just found the graffiti artist that done it at Graffiti Kings at http://www.hire-a-graffiti-artist.co.uk/ they got photos on the graffiti web site of John & Edward & Stacey doing graffiti.
