Big Brother Betting 2010

It has been a successful and entertaining 10 year relationship between the Big Brother franchise and Channel 4 but Big Brother 2010 will be the last year of the association as the Channel 4 bosses have now decided to axe the program due to falling viewing figures. The irony of that is that in the online betting world the popularity of Big Brother Betting seems to increase year on year and Big Brother Betting 2010 promises to once again be one of the biggest entertainment betting events of the year. Following on from the success of the 2010 Celebrity Big Brother show the organisers will be hoping to go out on a high, so we can be sure to see all sorts of weird and wonderful characters fill the house this year and in turn creating many a talking point and filling many column inches of the country’s tabloids.

Big Brother 2010 Betting Markets

As ever, there will be an abundance of Big Brother Betting 2010 markets for punters to get their teeth stuck into. Of course you will have the outright winner betting market which will be by far the most popular but there will also be weekly eviction markets, sex of the winner markets, final three markets, match bet markets and many, many more. Deciding where to place your Big Brother 2010 Betting money will be a tricky task and it is likely that opinions and popularity will change many times over the course of the program, as last year’s early favourite Freddie will tell you; it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. Although it is sometimes difficult to suss these things out the best tactic in Big Brother Betting 2010 is to pick out someone who is relatively quiet at the start and is likely to blossom as the days and weeks go by - take Dane Bowers as a prime example of this in Celebrity Big Brother 2010.

Big Brother 2010 Contestants

Auditions for the final ever Big Brother to be screened on Channel 4 began in Manchester on Friday 15 January and ended on Sunday 7 February in London after stopping off at Dublin, Cardiff and Glasgow en route. Potential contestants in search of their 15 minutes of fame and the opportunity to go down in the history books of reality TV congregated at Manchester’s Central Convention Complex, the Royal Dublin Society, Cardiff International Arena, Glasgow’s SECC and then finally Wembley Arena  for the first round of auditions. Those who were successful at the first stage have a long road of auditions ahead of them and we won’t know who will make it into the house until the night of the opening show. Those who didn’t make it can console them with the fact that it is probably because they just aren’t quite weird enough.

A quick glance at some of the early audition videos on the Channel 4 website shows that there are still an abundance of eccentric, extrovert and downright weird people out there who are keen on exhibiting their personalities on a reality TV show to an audience of millions. Although what usually tends to happen is that a lot of these people are a lot less interesting once they settle into a day to day routine, and their false exterior exposes an emotional wreck behind their brash personality. But hey, the sad reality is that that is why we love it so and no doubt the nation will watch in their millions for another summer of Big Brother fun.
