Blue Square South Betting 2011-2012
The Blue Square South is probably the strongest league in non-league football outsider of the Blue Square Premier. There are five or six strong teams in the Blue Square South that scrap it out every season trying to get promoted into a bigger and better league.
Blue Square South betting 2011-2012 will have a number of interesting and competitive little markets. Some clubs in the division have upped their budgets dramatically for the coming season as they do not want to be forced into the Blue Square North for the 2012-2013 season.
Blue Square South Title Favourites
There are three clear Blue Square South title favourites at the moment. Dover, Woking and Chelmsford are all going for the title this season and will be looking to improve on their results in the last campaign.
Dover enjoyed a good FA Cup run last season which has elevated the status of the club and has allowed them to sign some better players. Woking have been one of the most consistent sides while Chelmsford have proved themselves capable of destroying the best teams in the division but can also be beaten by the worst.
Chelmsford could be interesting Blue Square South title favourites because if they can improve on consistency then they will have no trouble in wrapping up the title. The Clarets have the largest support base in the division and one of the best managerial backroom teams.
Blue Square South Title Contenders
Expect Eastbourne to feature heavily because they have just come down from the Blue Square Premier and will want to get back as quickly as they can. The reason Eastbourne are Blue Square South title contenders and not favourites is because they have lost some key players and budget money due to their relegation.
Salisbury on the other hand come up after a strong promotion campaign. Salisbury have a lot of cash in the bank for this level of football and are gambling a little bit on the fact that they will compete in this league. It could be difficult for them to adjust in the respect that they need to find the right sort of players to compete at this level.
Blue Square South Relegation
Thurrock are in serious danger of Blue Square South relegation. They have just lost their best defender to Chelmsford City and struggled to whip up enough support to generate a good budget during the last campaign.
Maidenhead have also struggled at this level over the last couple of seasons. They are in the Blue Square South relegation group because they have failed to bring in the players who can get then out of the mess and eventually up and out of the division.
