Brit Awards Betting 2010
It’s that time of year again folks, on the 16th February 2010 anyone who is anyone within the world of British music (and beyond) will descend upon London’s Earls Court for the 2010 Brit Awards. The 2010 awards will be hosted by the nation’s favourite comedian Peter Kay and will be screened live on ITV. Glitz glamour and razzmatazz will be aplenty and it is sure to once again be one of the highlights of the musical calendar.
Betting on the Brit Awards 2010
As ever, we are offered the opportunity by many online bookmakers to do some Brit Awards Betting. If you fancy yourself as a bit of a music buff and think that you know who will scoop any of the awards then why not have a little flutter and see if you can make your knowledge pay. The bookies have their opinions on who they think will win each award and most categories seem to be between two or three artists according to the Music Betting odds on offer.
Two Horse Race in Brit Awards Betting
Best British album is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious awards of the night and it appears to be a straight shootout between Kasabian and Florence & the Machine according to the bookmakers. Whilst Kasabian are expected to make it a double for the night by also winning the Best Group award although the likes of Muse and JLS are expected to have their say in that one, and Florence & the Machine is also favourite for the Best Female Solo Artist award with Lilly Allen hot on her heels.
Short Priced Favourites
Robbie Williams will collect the outstanding contribution award on the night after the former Take That man made a successful comeback in 2009. He is also nominated for the award of Best Male Solo Artist and is the odds on favourite with Paddy Power to collect the award. However, he is not the shortest of odds in the Brit Awards Betting, that accolade goes to Lady Gaga in two separate categories – Best International Female Artist and International Breakthrough Act.
Best British Single Betting
Again the bookmakers think that the accolade of Best British Single is a straight shootout between two acts. JLS’s Beat Again and X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole’s Fight for This Love are the short priced favourites weighing in at around the 13/8 mark again with Paddy Power, but if you’re interested in some Brit Awards betting then don’t discount the likes La Roux and Pixie Lot in this category.
It promises to be an entertaining evening and if you can make your knowledge pay and earn a little extra cash from your Brit Awards betting, then all the better. Good Luck and enjoy!
