Once again the nation promises to be gripped by the mixture of our proud nation’s weird and wonderful people showcasing their talents in front of Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden. Popular presenters Ant and Dec will once again host the show in their now customary prime time Saturday evening slot with the winner going on to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.

Cowell To Step Down

01/05/2010

Simon Cowell has announced that he will not be involved with the audition stage of next year’s Britains Got Talent. The media mogul is due to start up an American version of X-Factor next year and is keen to devote as much time as possible to that. Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne are being mooted as potential replacements but whoever is given the role Cowell is confident that the show can go on without him.

Judges Left Spellbound

26/04/2010

Britain’s Got Talent judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan were left to pick their jaws up from the floor after witnessing a performance akin to that of Susan Boyle in last year’s show. The gymnastics group Spellbound wowed the panel and all inside the auditorium with a display of acrobatics that the competition has never seen before. The bookmakers were also suitably impressed and have made the group the clear favourites in the Britains Got Talent Betting 2010.

Britains Got Talent Betting

Like many of United Kingdom’s reality TV shows there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in Britains Got Talent Betting 2010. Yet unlike programmes such as Big Brother and X-factor, the nature of Britain’s Got Talent means that the betting, in earnest, doesn’t begin until the last weeks of the series.

In those final weeks the online betting punter will have plenty of opportunities to get involved in Britains Got Talent Betting 2010. As well as being able to bet on which of the many finalists will go on to secure the £100,000 prize money and perform at this year’s Royal Variety show, you can also bet on the sex of the winning act, the type of act (i.e. singer, dancer, juggler, all round freak show) and also the margin of victory.

Some bookmakers are also taking bets on which of the judges will buzz first and who will buzz the most. Any information on which side of the bed Mr Cowell rolled out of may be advantageous to punters here.

SuBo's Got Talent

After the success and fame that Susan Boyle has had thrust upon her since last year’s Britains Got Talent series, many can be forgiven for forgetting that she didn’t actually win the contest. Young dance group Diversity – who have since gone on to star in the 3-D film Street Dance – were the winners of last year’s live final.

They upset the Britains Got Talent Betting odds not only in public opinion but also amongst the bookmakers who had priced Susan Boyle up as the odds on favourite in the Britains Got Talent Betting. It serves as a stark reminder to punters just how fallible betting on reality TV can be.
