India v England First ODI Betting
Both India and England will want to get off to a good start during the first of five One Day International matches at Hyderabad. India are the World Champions in the 50 over format of the game and they will want to show this after being outplayed for much of their tour in England.
India v England first ODI betting is going to favour the Indians because England would not have been given much time to adjust to the Indian conditions and the Indian pitches. India will be the favourites across a lot of betting markets.
Betting on India
Betting on India is best approached by working out a few key individuals to support. The England bowling attack may suffer a little during the first game due to the heat and humidity. Batsmen such as Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar could both be good bets to score centuries in Cricket Betting.
Betting on India could also be successful with a couple of the spinners in the side. Harbhajan Singh is the obvious candidate to back because he has played hundreds of ODI matches and has a lot of experience. The ball should sing for him a lot more than it does for spinners in England.
Betting on England
Betting on England needs to be focused on the more experienced individuals who have played in India before. A few members of the England squad would have played IPL cricket which will give them greater experience of how to play limited overs cricket in India.
The likes of Kevin Pietersen and Jonathan Trott should be reliable bets for One Day Internationals Cricket Betting. Both are a little older and have played many more matches than some of the younger England players who will feature during the tour.
Pitch at Hyderabad
The pitch at Hyderabad will be dry and won't offer much in the way of assistance to the seamers. The new ball may move around a little but the slower bowlers and the spinners will come into the match as the game goes on.
The pitch at Hyderabad can leave touring captains questioning what a good score is. It will not be a surprise at all if Alastair Cook prefers to chase on this sort of wicket so he, and England, know what a good score is and can see what sort of form the Indian team is in.
Cricket Run Outs
Cricket run outs can be more common in India. It could be a good idea to back there to be a couple of runs out in the England side during the first match at Hyderabad. The reason for this is the noise the crowd will generate.
Less experienced and younger members of the England team may still try to shout down the wicket to their partner, which can be impossible due to the noise level at some Indian grounds. This causes confusion and run outs can result.
India will play on this and have some brilliant fielders in their ODI side such as Virat Kohli. These fielders lurk in the covers on the offside and fly in when there is even the slightest hint of hesitation from the opposition.
