Moto GP Czech Republic Grand Prix Betting 2011

The Czech Republic is one of the most fascinating places in Europe and the world to travel to or bet at for a high profile sporting event. The majority of the conditions in the Czech Republic can be very deceptive and could catch one or two of the less experienced riders out.

Moto GP Czech Republic Grand Prix betting 2011 covers the race which comes at the business end of the racing calendar. This means the list of races still to be completed is short and any drivers with ambitions of taking the title will have to take a few more risks.

The Czech Grand Prix

The Czech Grand Prix is held at the Automotodrom Brno which is one of the more difficult tracks that the riders will negotiate over the course of the year. The length of the track is not massive at just over five miles but there are complex corners all over the place and hardly any stretches of road where someone with a quicker bike can take advantage.

The Czech Grand Prix is also known for being difficult during the summer heat. Temperatures in the Czech Republic can reach very high figures because the country is further East in Europe. This means the physically fittest riders will tend to keep their concentration for longer.

Details of the Brno

The details of the Brno are fascinating. The course is actually set within a very small area which is why there are so many corners; in order to stretch the length of the circuit out. The only two areas of track where a rider will get advantage from having a quick bike in a straight line are the two straights in the first sector.

These straights are the only details of the Brno which will please the engineers that have sacrificed a few things this season just to get a few more seconds of speed out of their engines.

The details of the Brno also include a series of modifications that were held in 1996 to increase the safety of riders as they went round the track. These modifications were designed to allow the riders to tackle the complex corners a little quicker which obviously aids them racing wise.

Favourites for the Czech Grand Prix

The favourites for the Czech Grand Prix are going to be the fittest individuals and the most experienced individuals. Valentino Rossi has taken part in this race many times before and he has kept himself in good shape so he has a chance.

Dani Pedrosa could have a great chance in this race because he would have been working extensively on his fitness after picking up an injury earlier in the season. Pedrosa also has the speed and should pick up a few seconds on the straight and flat areas of track.

Czech Grand Prix Main Contenders

The Czech Grand Prix is one of the few racers where a disciplined underdog can be successful. Alvaro Bautista is a good example of one of the Czech Grand Prix main contenders. Bautista is a balanced rider who will relish the challenge of trying to set a fastest lap on a track like this.
