The Premier League 2010-2011 is the nineteenth Premier League to be contested beginning on 14 August 2010 and concluding on 22 May 2011. Chelsea and Manchester United have dominated the Premier League Betting for a number of years now but we have a new kid on the block this season. Similarly to Burnley last season the betting firms are dismissing Blackpool’s chances of survival before they’ve even begun. Ultimately they were right to do so but Burnley caused more than a few upsets at the beginning of the season whilst riding a wave of confidence, there is no reason why Blackpool can’t go and do the same.

West Brom are the pre-season second betting favourites to be relegated from the Premier League whilst Newcastle, Wigan, West Ham, Wolves and Bolton are all seen as genuine contenders for the drop.

With a place in the Champions League on offer to those who finish in the top four of the Premier League a fourth place finish bares great rewards to the team who achieve it.
