Premier League Snooker Betting 2010

Premier League Snooker is now in its 14th season under its current name. This season, with the direction of new WPBSA chairman Barry Hearn who is aiming to push snooker into the 21st century, it promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

Each of the seven players involved has won a major event in the 2009/10 season making it the most competitive Premier League Snooker event for a long time. The event, which will be played on Thursday nights and will be televised live on Sky Sports, visits ten towns across England, Scotland and Wales over the course of two months.

Premier League Snooker Betting 2010 is one of the first opportunities for snooker fans to get involved in Snooker Betting this season.

Premier League Snooker Players 2010

The players competing for the Premier League Snooker 2010 crown are as follows;

Shaun Murphy – Last year’s winner will defend his Premier League crown on the back of an otherwise disappointing season for the 2005 World Champion.

Ronnie O’Sullivan – ‘The Rocket’ had won this event five times in a row prior to being defeated in last year’s final by Murphy. He has a total of seven Premier League titles to his name and is the unsurprising Premier League Snooker Betting 2010 favourite.

Neil Robertson – Australian Neil Robertson won his maiden World Championship title last season and will be looking to build on his two disappointing sixth place finishes in past Premier League Snooker events.

Mark Selby – The ‘Jester from Leicester’ won the 2010 Masters title and was a semi-finalist in the World Championships, a beaten finalist in the 2009 Premier League he has a chance this year.

Mark Williams – Last season’s China Open winner looked to be rediscovering the form that won him the World Championship title in 2000 and 2003 and could prove to be a popular bet in Premier League Snooker Betting 2010.

Ding Junhui – The ‘Star of the East’ won the UK Championship last season to put to bed fears that he was mentally unable to win a major title. With the knowledge that he can beat the ebst this could be an exciting season for the Chinese superstar.

Marco Fu – The 2003 Premier League winner had a disappointing 2009/10 season but was able to recover his form sufficiently enough to win the only direct qualifier for the Premier League – Championship League Snooker. He is the rank outsider here but past glory will give him hope.
