The 2010 US masters will be the 74th Masters tournament and will once again be held at its home the Augusta National. A European player hasn’t won at Augusta this millennium and on that occasion it was Jose Maria Olazabal who was flying the European flag, it has been a long time since he made any significant impact in the majors hence is 200/1 price tag. Nick Faldo was the last Englishman to taste US Masters victory but despite an automatic invite he isn’t expected to play this year.
Whether Tiger Woods is involved or not the US Masters never fails to excite, and if the world number one doesn’t make it then the 2010 US Golf Masters could be one of the most fiercely contested majors in recent history.
