Cheltenham Free Bets in March

February 28th, 2007 by FreeBetsmaster

With March a day away, you should be looking forward to a month packed with events to fill your online betting calendar. The Cheltenham Festival has got to be up there as the highest profile bill and the bookies offer great free bets when punters go through their online sign up to flutter on one of the races. It’s a great meeting where money is wagered at a rate of knots by the hard-core lovers of horse racing.

It’s not just the racing but the course itself, steeped in history, the people who go are passionate about horse racing and can’t wait to place their bets. In fact, and this is remarkable - ante-post betting on Cheltenham actually started after the race in question finished the year before! You don’t don’t get much more passionate about betting on the horses than that. It’s a win-win situation though as punters can get much better prices at this stage than betting nearer the race.

If you can, it’s worth trying to get to the Cheltenham Festival at some stage to sample the atmosphere and see the course. People are attracted from all over Europe which has got to be an indication of the quality of facilities offerered.

There are plenty of other sports betting opportunities such as the conclusion of the six nations rugby, FA cup soccer qualifiers, lots of golf and a big cricket oturnament with the ICC Cricket World Cup. So get your reminders going for and look for free bet offers.

ICC Cricket world Cup Bets

February 26th, 2007 by FreeBetsmaster

The ICC Cricket Cricket World Cup gets going in March and betting is well under way. As always, the bookies are offering free bets incentives on this event as the odds have dramatically changed since Australia’s defeats to New Zealand and England. So where’s the smart money going? You can’t write Austalia off even now. Firstly, they are still world champions and secondly they are simply still probably the best side in the world.

New Zealands sudden dramatic turnaround against Australia, to some extent may have been down to home territory but they’ll be contenders, as will England after their victory against the Aussies in Sydney.

Don’t forget the others!

Let’s not forget the other countries who have been doing battle against each other overseas : India have shown that they are strong, but Pakistan have been disappointing considering the batting line up. South Africa seem to have got the measure of Mohammed Yousuf, possibly one of the best in the world at the moment.

The hosts, West Indies again have improved a lot and they might be the dark horses of the tournament, with batsmen like Chris Gayle - can get them off to the best possible start.

So start looking for the best betting deals online at the moment for the ICC Cricket World Cup and take advantage of any cricket free bets.

Six Nations Free Bet on England

February 23rd, 2007 by FreeBetsmaster

Would you go betting on the six nations for an England win over Ireland on Saturday? Free Bets are available from bookies for the tournament but England fans will have a complete change of heart on where they bet online on Saturday.

It was an unsettling fright to hear on the news yesterday that Jonny Wilkinson had missed a training session with the England Rugby Squad. Apparently a tight hamstring was the cause of the worry but he is not yet out. He has until just hurs before te game to prove fitness but now we also have Jason Robinson out. England’s chances are therefore dramatically affected and you’ve got to think that they don’t have the calibur of player to replace them.

Strength in depth?

Do England now have the strength of squad that it took to win the 2003 world cup - doesn’t look like it! Something has to be looked at here if England are constantly relying on one or two players to give them the winning edge. The betting odds have swung in Ireland’s favour now and understandably so.

You can get your free bet on the six nations by visiting our six nations betting page.

Choose bets to suit your budget.

February 22nd, 2007 by FreeBetsmaster

When betting online, it goes without saying that you should be placing a bet that “you can afford to lose”. You should not bet with money that you don’t have, that is that you may have borrowed. Betting for most people is a leisure activity but should still be taken very seriously because of the risks.

You need to decide how much money you can allocate for your betting and imagine if you lost it all. How would you feel? Now, at Free Betting Online, we are affiliated with some of the biggest names in the country who run the “Free Bets” incentives and you will see that their are many different free bet values. From just a £10 free bet up to £100 free bet and sometimes more, we show you bookmaker offers that will appeal to the novice and more seasoned punter.

But the point is here, that to enjoy your betting to the full, you shouldn’t be stretching yourself. Begin with a small deposit and register with your preferred bookie with a smaller amount to see how you go. Just because one offer may be of a £100 free bet doesn’t mean to say that that is the amount you have to deposit - this is a maximum that they will deposit into your account, i.e. the offer is up to £100.

Make sure you are happy that the entity that you are signing with is one that is well known or from a good referral. We are only referring you to the established names who will deal with your bets in a professional and ethical manner.

So keep on enjoying!

Who’s offering Free Money?

February 21st, 2007 by FreeBetsmaster

We deal mainly in Free Bets incentives here at Free Betting online but we also use the term “Free Money” as a term for a kind of bonus offered by a betting entity. It tends to be more used in the States but it is becoming much more popular a term in the UK and it actually probably better describes the type of sign up deal that is given in this form. After all, you deposit a certain amount in your account and the bookmaker will then match it - for free!

When your looking for your this type of joining bonus online, don’t forget to look for this term so that you don’t miss out. It is a very broad term which different sectors of the reatil industry will use if they are offering a financial incentive, so it’s worth just going to a search engine and typing “Free Money” as a search term and seeing all the sites that come up. Have a browse through them and see the different formats that free money can take. Naturally, the online betting world is an obvious one, as we point out, but today’s bigger trend is to give free money in the form of “Cashback”. This is where you may sign up to a companies product or service and they may give you a cashback reward for either your individual sign up or referring a friend or reaching some other target.

The Value of Free Bets

February 19th, 2007 by FreeBetsmaster

It seems that many newcomers to the world of online betting have a misconception as to how you get a certain value of Free Bet - some think that if you see a £100 Free Bet offer, then all you have to do is deposit, say £10, and you get the £100. Unfortunately not so. Free Bets are basically a match for your stake, therefore if you put in the £10 then receive £10 as the Free Bet reward. It is very rare that an incentive Free Bet above the amount that you first deposit into your account is going to be more than that amount.

Please refer to our article on Free Bets - How they work for more clarification.

The Awesome Australians not so awesome.

February 16th, 2007 by FreeBetsmaster

Get ready to use free bets in the coming Cricket World Cup The Australians were beaten by New Zealand in Wellington over night. Not just beaten - thrashed! Their first ten wicket defeat in history. So how does this affect the betting world? It’s one of those occassions where people say “I wish I had had a bet on that”. Imagine the odds going into that game on that happening!

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an Australian side showing signs of pressure but in the last  four games that is exactly what we’ve seen. Little things like fielding errors, dropped catches - yes Mr McGrath, that means you! - bad shots played at the wicket, it all goes to show you that if you put this Aussie side under pressure, then there are creeks in their defences and their attack begins to weaken to.

We saw Vincent and Fleming free themselves up to clatter the Australian total down quickly in an aggressive manner. The world Cup could be up for grabs to anyone at this rate if the Aussie’s can’t get their act back together. But we know they’re a great side and they’ll bounce back quickly.

The ICC Cricket World Cup has got to be worth a flutter on an outsider this year. The Australian drop in form has really put the cat among the pidgeons as far as odds on them winning is concerned. This is a good opportunity to use a cricket free bet and get going!

Free Bets as a Free Money Incentive

February 14th, 2007 by FreeBetsmaster

It’s a funny thing but “Free Bets” are not really that well known in the betting sphere and this is surprising as it is a common way that is used by online betting entities and bookmakers to offer their customers as an incentive to sign up with them and open an account.

If you look around the internet betting world, you’ll see that there are various bonuses available to new customers as sign up rewards but the Free Bets method seems to be more a term that is known by experienced campaigners and therefore they know what to look for in “free betting”

Another term used is “Free Money” and again, this is known throughout the betting and gambling world. Basically, as the name suggests, you would sign up with a bookmaker and deposite anything from, say £10 to £100 and the bookie would then deposit an equivalent amount into your account - for free! Thus, you have doubled the amount that you have available to bet, this extra 50% being the “Free Money” reward.

At Free betting Online we are affiliated with some of the biggest and most reputable bookmakers in the country who all offer some kind of free bet when you open an account or will offer a free money bonus. Check out our lit of bookmakers and browse their websites to take advantage of these offers and let people know about your experience, here at the Free Bets Blog.

Well, well, well. Howz about that then?

February 13th, 2007 by FreeBetsmaster

England won a One Day Cricket International Tournament! Brilliant.

After all the doubters, we stayed behind England while they were down. Freddie Flintoff really showed what he and his team can do with a display of gutsy cricket against the Aussies last week. It was quite an emotional moment when they finally won, after all the ashes defeats. There are some members of the squad who deserve singling out, not just for their performances in the competition but also for the way they have never given up. Paul Collingwood is the obvious first name with centuries in both the test series and in the one day internationals.

However, what about the guys who have actually struggled - Andrew Strauss for example, has supported the other guys in the team whilst struggling to find some sort of form himself. I think his stickability is going to be rewarded. He is a great player and will come back strong before too long. Watch this space.

Ian Bell has had a lot of slating in the past but you can see him maturing rapidly through this part of his career. Another player who, in time, will be labelled a great. It will take a couple more years, but he will get there. Fantastic fielding and catching, energy in the field and tremendous application on the pitch.

Some of the new comers, Monty, Jamie Dalrymple, Bopara and Loye can all entertain and perform on their day as world beaters.

I tell ya - check out free bets deals on the ICC Cricket World Cup coming up because there are going to be surpises!

We would really like to see Saj Mahmood come to the fore soon. He has a great action that you can’t help think needs the slightest refinement from the coaches. Let’s see what Kevin Shine can do there.

How did that happen?

February 12th, 2007 by FreeBetsmaster

So France have beaten Ireland, the six nations favourites, and the whole tournament is wide open.

It was a tight match with some superb rugby and a thrilling finish. Everybody had Ireland to win this game , based on their form in the autumn. Let’s face it, you just can’t write off the French - ever! Their try in the dying minutes gave them victory when Ireland were in the process of trying to run the game time down. Some defencive slips at this stage allowed the french no. 14 (Vincent Clerc) the opportunity to break through to touch down in the last minutes.

All the players were showing signs of fatigue in the last quarter as the game had been played at such a pace. The try count evenually went in France’s favour by 2-1. This sort of game demonstrates that the autumn internationals are no indication of how the six nations tournament will go. It’s a unique contest in unique conditions. Ireland looked unstoppable in the autumn, whilst England looked like they might be wooden spoon candidates even back then. But they showed against Scotland that they have the players and now have the coach. Their display against Italy wasn’t too convincing though and consistency is something they will have to build on.

So who did you bet on for this championship? There were very few pundits rating France - and now they’ve beaten the favourites. Look for all sorts of odds changes after this weekend’s results. Take a look at our Six Nations Betting page.
