This weekend sees Grand National free bets being the buzz word. Free money offers abound as the bookies go for your business! Take a good look around our list of online betting bookmakers with whom we are affiliated because they are all fighting to get you as a customer when this event gets close.
We’ve discussed this before and there’s no change as the weekend starts, casual and part-time punters will flock to bookies for their one-time flutter, albeit a small one, and experience the buzz of having a stake on a horse race. This is how many people get started in sports betting.
So how do you make some money? Well, fortunately for the racegoers, horses and riders, the going is likely to be good with the dry weather we’ve had. Unfortunately, this doesn’t give much of a degree of uncertainty about the result in terms of getting a winner with good odds. I’m talking about the 300 + to 1 shots. So, it’ll have to be picking from the favourites if you just want to get a win. Myself, I’m going for a complete outsider to see if something bizarre will happen and I get my monkey over the line and earn some proper cash!

Betting on the US Masters 2007 finished yesterday with free bets taken up rapidly as punters look for the free money from the bookmakers whilst Zach Johnson works his way to take the green jacket. Well deserved and with some super controlled short game shots demonstrated as to why he is a worthy winner. He takes the coveted jacket over from last year’s winner, Phil Mickelson.
When you listen to Johnson being interviewed after his victory, he comes across as a very likeable guy with an element of shyness to him. Strange then that at the top level of a sport, you find such an endearing character. You can only deduce that Johnson is the kind of player who goes inside himself to establish that focus that gives champions the killer instinct to take a tournament title. A contrast from Tiger Woods, for example, who also is a very amiable man, but has more of a cool, clinical aspect to his persona.
It’s testament to the ambition and drive to these sportsmen that they can blot out everything to gain the tunnel vision required to concentrate, eliminate nerves and make that shot!
We now look forward to Golf Betting on the 2008 US Masters but sooner comes the British Open.

The term “Free Betting” is used in the online betting world to highlight free money offers from the bookmakers. Many people know about this as the free bet that a bookie gives away to encourage new customers to their client base. We are often asked why it is termed “free” when you have to effectively buy a bet by depositing some money yourself.
As with many things nowadays, a supplier of goods or commodities will nearly always sacrifice some sort of money value t0 get you as a customer. The supermarkets are typical of this, although they do it in a different way, i.e. loyalty cards is a good example where customers are given points to redeem for goods at a later date. BOGOFF deals (Buy One Get One Free) again give you something for free to get you you to buy at least something! This is usually at a quieter time of year.
The Bookmakers are trying to operate in a similar vein and the only saleable commodity that they have is a bet. It has to be accepted and understood that they need a commitment from you that you are going to stay with them for your online betting when they give away bets to a money value because, make no mistake, a free bet is free money.

Golf Betting here at Free Betting Online is becoming ever more popular with online betting bookmakers operating free bets offers with further free money for the betting enthusiast on this sport. As the British Open approaches, look out for possibly betting on an outsider, taking into consideration the Scottish weather!
The surge in popularity in sports betting is most probably allied to the growth in the number of people actually playing the game themselves over the past twenty years. The British Open comes to Carnoustie between July 19th and 22nd of 2007 and it promises to be another enthralling encounter. Carnoustie is a tough little cookie of a course and needs a true champion to tame it. If conditions aren’t good, which they often are not there, this can be a gruelling test. Wind and rain, and even low temperatures at that time of year, all add to a huge challenge. Cold hands don’t help a gold swing!
As far as golf betting goes, it’s must be a contest that is worth wagering on an outsider. It goes without saying that Tiger Woods will be up there with the leaders but if the weather is “inclement” in it’s usual Scottish style, you can bet on an upset.

Today, this is basically an alert article for free bets on the Grand National coming up on April 14th. Seasoned campaigners in the online betting world will be aware but the casual punter may not - the Grand National is very close!
I post this as a reminder after a weekend of most of my friends asking me when the race is. Understandably, it was those friends who enjoy a casual punt who were asking.
As with most major sporting events in the sporting calendar, the British bookies will be offering free money to new customers in the form of their Grand National Free Bets BUT : they can leave these quite late. Keep checking back with us to check out who is offering what. Our regular customers will remeber Cheltenham this year when bookmakers had all sorts of increased offers in the form of an initial free bet itself and then this was followed up with a similar second free bonus of the same value if you place a further, for example, ten bets to the same stake.
If you’re keeping an eye on the National and waiting eagerly to see who to go with, site tight and wait until around a week before the event when we’ll be advised of new offers and will put them live as soon as we are notified.
See you back here soon!
