Looking deeper into the man, he has come from a troubled past, as many fighters have, but there also lies a softer side to him when he talks of his past and how he has learned from what he has been through to be a good father to his children.

Ricky Hatton has been a boxer from a very young age and to me, shows amazing composure during a fight. It is his relaxed demeanour and approachable nature, even with his international status, that makes him such a popular guy in this country. Coupled with this is a world class boxer who has no need for making noise before a bout, he just performs.

It’s a mouthwatering prospect this one, on 12th December it all kicks off, and what I would give to be ringside. The crowd support for both fighters will be as much as you could expect and the excitement of watching two undefeated contestants just adds spark to a sports betting event that doesn’t even need it.
