Mmm, Why Would Scolari Want Ronaldo to Leave Mr Ferguson?

The press have been loving the will-he-wont-he debate filling up sports column inches in which has been a surprising quiet transfer market this summer. Now, big Luiz Felipe Scolari, the new Chelsea boss and Ronaldo’s former international manager has been caught up in the hulabaloo. Rumours have started that he was dishing out ‘career advise’ to Ronaldo about taking his trade to the spanish giants Real Madrid while he was still gaffer at Portugal knowing full well he had Chelsea courting him at this years Euro 2008. Now, who would bet big Phil would do such a thing?
Even if the story is a million miles from truthsville it highlights what a sticky mess this is all turning into. Of course Premiership betting fans would love to see United keep their man, but you can bet your grannie that there wont be too many unhappy football betting fans outside of Manchester if he does decide to go.
But there has been one man who has been notably quiet in all of this and that is Alex Ferguson. Now, with talks of losing his No 2 - Carlos Queiroz to become next manager of Portugual it may be easy to see why Fergie might lump all his anger towards big Phil this season as he seems to the man that has tipped Fergie’s apple cart on its side and ran off with its wheels.
