So what of the current 2009 X Factor show then? Well, from the ashes of Pop Idol rose the phoenix-like X Factor as we all know, brainchild of music mogul and uber celeb, Simon Cowell, and whilst the former deflated like a limp balloon once the Series Two party was over, the X Factor bandwagon went from strength to strength. If you choose to ignore the well-publicized voting irregularities discovered last year that is and the usual in-fighting between the egotistical judges.

Yep, there's no TV show quite like the X Factor to get the nation talking, and now one of the hottest event betting series' on the box makes has made its timely return to the airwaves, it's primed to unleash a new batch of would-be stars of the future. Which in turn is great news for online punters, as X Factor betting 2009 promises to be bigger, bolder and better than ever before.

Joe McElderry Wins X Factor 2009 As Online Bookies Predicted

Robbie Williams, George Michael, Michael Buble and Sir Paul McCartney gave this year's X Factor series both their endorsements and a barn-storming send-off, as X Factor betting 2009 bookies' favourite – Joe McElderry – stole the show and snatched the ultimate £1 million recording contract prize from sole rival, Olly Murs. That's right, this last weekend the curtain finally came down on X Factor 2009 – arguably the most successful series to date – but not before saving the best performances for the last show, both in terms of contestants and legendary musical performers.

The epic weekend-long X Factor betting 2009 final on Saturday saw a triumvirate of show-stopping duets, featuring the remaining three X Factor 2009 finalists and three of the biggest names in music. First up we witnessed Stacey Soloman take to the stage with Michael Buble to belt out a pitch perfect version of Nina Simone's 'Feeling Good', before she rounded off her 2009 X Factor journey with Louis Armstrong's 'Wonderful World' and Queen's 'Who Wants To Live Forever', the latter of which had proven her golden moment in this year's X Factor. Following her onto the X Factor 2009 stage was Olly Murs who belted out his interpretation of Robbie Williams' anthemic ballad, 'Angels', who himself - as the song progressed - joined the Colchester lad on stage to bring the house down. Murs then went on to sing another couple of personal favourites from the current series before Joe McElderry partnered George Michael for a rousing run-through of 'Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me' to round off a perfect Saturday night's TV.

Joe McElderry And Olly Murs Went Head-To-head, Although X Factor Betting 2009 Bookies Pointed At McElderry Win All Along

Sadly Soloman wasn't adjudged to have done enough to warrant a final final day's X Factor berth, and departed the show after Saturday evening's performances, well, once Robbie had treated us to his new single in between the copious ad breaks paving the way for a head-to-head between Murs and McElderry barely 24 hours later; and with a TV audience rumoured to be in the region of 20 million according to early indications. After Olly 'Twist(ed) and Shout(ed)' – bendy leg action and all - and Joe had pleaded with undecided phone voters to 'Don't Stop Believin', the X Factor final stage was set for both to get to vocal grips with the official X Factor 2009 winners' song; the record made famous fairly recently by Miley Cyrus called 'The Climb'.

Cue Olly to give it his all in an emotional retelling of the Cyrus hit, whilst Joe did just enough swaying and Donny Osmond-esque poses to ensure the viewers at home had their work cut out to determine just which of the two very different acts were to be successful. Like we said earlier, the sensible money – like it had been in recent weeks – was on the South Shields youngster as the online X Factor betting 2009 bookmakers had confirmed, and as according to the script, it was ultimately McElderry's name that was read out by an atmosphere-building X Factor presenter, Dermot O'Leary on the night. Only in the aftermath of more star turns from George Michael, returning X Factor 2008 finalists Alexander Burke and JLS, 2007 winner and global mega-star, Leona Lewis and Beatles icon, Sir Paul McCartney. Oh, and the storming of the stage by all 12 of this year's X Factor finalists. So there it is for another year. Roll on X Factor 2010 is all we can say......

X Factor Betting 2009 – Live Final Show Betting Preview

After all the stage managed tears, stage school taught tantrums and general hoo-ha's, this year's X Factor is drawing to an end this weekend, with the X Factor betting 2009 online bookies insisting that it's a virtual shoe-in that Disney's Joe McElderry is set to gently sway off with the biggest prize in reality TV land; that being £100,000 and a Simon Cowell-stamped, multi-million pound recording contract. Eventually followed by a gradual, soul destroying slide back into oblivion before 2010 is out, sadly outshone by the collective – and far more lucrative – talents of Danyl Johnson, the unstoppable Jedward and even Jamie Afro. Last week we saw the back of Danyl Johnson, voted off the X Factor 2009 by viewers at home for the simple reason they had never warmed to him in the first place. He'd never let the judges or audiences warm to him and came over as both stand off-ish and borderline arrogant. Opinions which were irreversibly reinforced by weekly news filtering through that he constantly fell out with his mentor, Simon Cowell over song choices and was throwing theatrical strops left, right and centre. Which was a massive shame, and effectively meant he was the architect of his own X Factor downfall, regardless of signing off with two fantastic numbers during Michael Jackson week.

Joe McElderry Odds On Favourite Ahead Of X Factor 2009 Final

So who else is left in the X Factor betting 2009 reckoning now that long-time current series internet betting favourite Danyl Johnson received the heave-ho last week? The one X Factor total package if we're honest who stood the best chance of making the big time and sustaining it, both home and away, because let's face it; we don't think Olly, Stacey or Geordie Joe have the either the voice/charisma or stage presence to do 'a Leona'. For all his cheeky chappy persona and 'like-ability' factor, Essex boy Olly Murs we can't imagine will travel well as an act, despite the best efforts of his Elvis pelvis and all the will in the world. Likewise, Stacey Soloman's musical star shines brightly enough and she possess an addictive personality that much is true, yet she doesn't command the audience or 'own' the songs as any potential global recording artist must, whilst she's barely mastered the art of walking and singing simultaneously as we head into the X Factor final. And then there's Joe McElderry. Undoubtedly a lovely lad who'd generate a good old sing-song at retirement homes up and down the country, but he's nothing altogether new or original. West End productions and an avenue of musicals beckon Geordie Joe whether he wins or not in our X Factor betting 2009 book.

Robbie Williams And George Michael Will Duet With X Factor 2009 Finalists

The X Factor final 2009 is all about duets apparently, and sees some of the biggest names in musical showbiz take to the X Factor stage, pairing up with the three finalists as they prepare to give it their all one last time in the name of popular Saturday night entertainment. After all, this is what they've dreamed of doing all their lives if the continual VT sound-bites are to be believed, all their lives being roughly 17 years. Although in fairness many Barclays Premier League footballers have had their first autobiography published by that stage in their 'careers'. So it's – well, judging by the tabloids – a return to X Factor for one of this year's more infamous live act-cum-mentors, Mr Robbie Williams, as well as a revisit from Michael Buble and none other than George Michael himself turning up to lend his support to one of this year's X Factor contestants. Let's just hope the latter isn't driving himself to the X Factor studio on the night. Sir Paul McCartney is also rumoured to be putting in an X Factor 2009 final appearance too over the coming weekend. If all the gossip is correct then expect to see Olly Murs perform with Robbie, X Factor betting 2009 favourite Joe McElderry teaming up with George Michael and Stacey Soloman taking to the stage with Michael Buble.

Internet X Factor Betting Bookies Insist Joe McElderry Is Final Show Favourite

News of which made absolutely no difference to the X Factor betting 2009 markets as Joe McElderry remains steadfastly in control of his own X Factor destiny according to Ladbrokes and Stan James, both of whom have the South Shields' star-in-the-making priced at 2/5 odds on favourite. Boylesports, Betfred, Coral and Paddy Power see things differently mind, as they're backing Dagenham's finest, Stacey Soloman at odds of 9/2, whilst Olly Murs is trading at 4/1 with Bet365 to pull something out of the X Factor betting 2009 hat.

X Factor 2009 – Week Nine Betting Preview

Finally, proof that there is a God (and no, we mean beyond Simon Cowell), as Lloyd Daniels is no more. No more to X Factor 2009 followers that is, not a more sinister demise we should point out, Just on the off chance any of his tens of fans are reading this and take it upon themselves to jam our X Factor betting 2009 hotlines. No, the youngest contestant left in this year's X Factor betting 2009 markets was duly removed from the winning equation after failing to impress the viewers at home (those that don't live in the valleys that is) with his lacklustre version of the Gary Barlow-penned, 'A Million Love Songs' and – ironically - the Elton John-worded, 'I'm Still Standing'.

Yes, in case you hadn't worked it out from that brief intro, week eight of X Factor 2009 was all about Take That and Elton John's back catalogue. Adding a sort of best of British flavour to proceedings. Stacey Soloman might have massacred Take That's 'Rule The World', but all that was instantaneously forgiven the moment the Dagenham diva belted out Reg Dwight's 'Something About The Way You Look Tonight'.

Joe McElderry Clear Favourite To Win X Factor 2009 According To Online Bookies

Little Geordie Joe (the odds on X Factor betting 2009 bookies favourite to win this series) provided us with his interpretation of Take That's 'Could It Be Magic' and Elton John's 'Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word', whilst Olly Murs carried off a so-so version of 'Love Ain't Here Anymore' and a storming rendition of 'Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting) by their respective originators. Danyl Johnson opened the show with a very original take on Take That's 'Relight My Fire' – complete with well choreographed dance moves, the first of which we've seen the drama teacher put into practice – going on to run through Elton John's 'Your Song' for his encore.

Danyl Proving An X Factor Betting 2009 Point In Michael Jackson Week Rehearsals

Rumour has it that week nine's show will see the remaining acts take on Michael Jackson numbers, with his sister, Janet scheduled to take to the X Factor stage on Sunday night. According to our sources, pantomime villain Danyl has been wowing everyone back stage with his performances in rehearsals thus far, and despite being the online X Factor betting 2009 bookies' favourite to be eliminated this week is pulling out all the stops.

Danyl Johnson has experienced something of a love/hate relationship with just about everyone connected with the current series of X Factor, including Cheryl Cole (who accused him of acting like he'd won the competition from the off – although rapidly changed her mind once he had his hair shown off to resemble her hubby Ashley if you squint a bit), Dannii Minogue (who misguidedly dragged his alleged sexuality into the context of one of his performances) and even his own long-suffering mentor, Simon Cowell (who's had to pamper to his star's needs and temper tantrums on more than the one occasion). And then there's the TV viewers; who to knock Danyl down a peg or two even voted him into the bottom two a few weeks back. The only person it seems who's impervious to his crime against humanity is Louis Walsh. Although as some of you will attest, that would surely be a case of the pot calling the kettle black for the judge that gave the world Jedward.

Web TV Betting Bookmakers Offer Huge Selection Of X Factor 2009 Markets

The thing is though, there's no disputing the fact he's got the talent required to win this show with his eyes closed, and that's with the utmost respect for Olly Murs, Stacey Soloman and Geordie Joe. Can you imagine the Mattel action figure? Not so much action, just a lot of swaying along to ballads in the event. Sorry, we're digressing here. Concentrating on the latest X Factor betting 2009 odds as proffered by the web's leading entertainment betting bookies, and as our table above illustrates rather fittingly, it's all about Joe McElderry for the X Factor betting 2009 Outright Win. So that leaves us looking elsewhere for something to place a wager on.

How about Next X Factor Elimination? Danyl Johnson is evens on average across the markets, with Olly Murs a 7/4 bet with Ladbrokes, Blue Square, Coral, Betfred and Stan James as we write. Or perhaps you're interested in the Next Manager To Lose An Act category, in which case Betfred suggest Simon Cowell is the judge most at risk (2/9). Seperate X Factor betting 2009 battles include which contestant in the Top 25 And Over section will finish in the highest position, with Olly Murs pipping Danyl Johnson in the opinion of Blue Square, Paddy Power and SkyBet at least. Betfred and Betfair offer Top 3 markets, whilst all the big name internet TV Betting bookies believe Cheryl Cole will emerge as the X Factor betting 2009 Winning Manager at this point.

Joe McElderry Stuns X Factor 2009 Show Judges With George Michael Number

We know. It was inevitable. An event waiting to happen that you could make no preparations to avoid. Destiny calling. Yup, John and Edward have slipped out of the X Factor betting 2009 markets because, well, the obvious occurred last weekend; 'Jedward' were unceremoniously dumped out of the X Factor running. Cries of foul play and vote rigging are pointless as clearly every man, woman and child in Wales who could hold a phone in their mitts reached for the phone to ensure the safe passage of Lloyd Daniels whilst the majority of the rest of Great Britain were busy putting the kettle on or something equally as inexcusable. Why else would Daniels have made it thus far at the expense of Jamie 'Afro' Archer in week six of the show and now family favourites, 'Jedward' in week seven. Travesty of justice in our X Factor betting 2009 book but hey, we're supposed to remain impartial I know.

Joe McElderry Act To Beat According To X Factor Betting 2009 Bookies

So, what was week seven of this year's X Factor all about then, and more pertinently, how do the online X Factor betting 2009 bookies see the rest of the series panning out now that the numbers are rapidly diminishing. Crickey – we lost two last weekend! The X Factor contestants still standing were celebrating the musical life and times of George Michael and it had to be said, they all did the voice of Wham! Proud. With special praise reserved for the normally lightweight Joe McElderry doing a cracking version of Elton John's Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me and the normally irritating Danyl Johnson ripping through Careless Whisper. The latter pulling out a great performance in a week that he reportedly had more altercations with his mentor, Simon Cowell.

Personally hoping for a rousing – if not choreographically hilarious – interpretation of Wham's 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go', John and Edward instead provided us with their very distinctive take on 'I'm Your Man'; complete with the Wham Rap interspersed between. Which collectively they clearly weren't, as the viewing public registered their disapproval and placed the terrible twins in the bottom two with Lloyd Daniels on the night. Daniels had opened the show with a comprehensively unconvincing rendition of George Michael's mean and moody 'Faith' which cemented his place at the bottom of the pile after going into the show the bookies favourite to be axed.

Lloyd Daniels Favourite For X Factor Boot This Week With Online Bookies

Concentrating on the latest X Factor betting 2009 markets as promoted by the online bookies taking a very close interest in the ITV1 show, they are unanimously hinting that the axe will be hovering above the head of Lloyd Daniels this week, with Bet365, Victor Chandler, Blue Square, SkyBet, Ladbrokes and William Hill all trading at odds of 4/6 on the 16-year old Welshman being eliminated, with Danyl Johnson and Olly Murs a safe distance behind. After his spellbinding performance last week, Joe McElderry has been installed as the X Factor betting 2009 Outright Winner by Totesport, SportingBet, 888sport, Coral and Extrabet who all price the young Geordie at 6/4 on to become this year's show winner.

Stacey Soloman follows closely behind and is listed at 2/1 with Boylesports, Victor Chandler and Coral, whilst Olly Murs has slipped back into third place in the X Factor betting 2009 reckoning according to Betfred, Victor Chandler, Blue Square, Paddy Power, SkyBet and William Hill who all now make him 3/1. Danyl Johnson finds himself at an average 6/1 price with Ladbrokes, Coral and William Hill to turn things around after mucking up his boots once too often we feel, despite being an incredibly talented individual and entertaining performer. In terms of the three acts making it to the final show, and most of the virtual bookies insist it'll be a straight fight between Joe, Stacey and Olly in the event.

Jamie 'Afro' Archer Bows Out Of X Factor 2009 After Voting Deadlock Reached Again

Another stomping week of X Factor betting 2009 fun and games ended on a sour note as Jamie Archer was given his X Factor 2009 marching orders after the second consecutive week of deadlock thanks to the judges' shying away from their responsibility. The fall guy this time was shock-haired-rocker-cum-man-troll, Jamie 'Afro' Archer. Arguably one of the most original talents left in the competition – that being that the X Factor has never produced a bona fida rock singer, choosing as they do to churn out more middle-of-the-road pop – it seemed you couldn't have met a nicer guy than Jamie if his TV appearances were owt to go on. And who remains in the X Factor at the expense of Archer? Substandard 12-year old Welsh-boy, Lloyd Daniels, that's who. Having put paid to the vocally supreme Rachel Adedeji a few weeks back, Cheryl Cole's under-performing lap dog again usurped a singer in a different league to him.

OK, we know it's the general public who placed Jamie Archer in the X Factor doo-daa, but if only Louis Walsh had seen sense and voted Lloyd off instead of the Afro then we'd not have to rely on the great unwashed to overlook raw talent again. Still, on the plus side Jedward went from strength to strength with a unique, improvised and calculated version of Queen's 'Under Pressure'; complete with surprise support role from DJ Calvin Harris. Apparently his walk-on roll complete with pineapple headgear was an elaborate, pre-meditated PR stunt aimed at wrong-footing X Factor officials and providing him with a platform to denounce Simon Cowell and the X Factor-generated pop star production line as pure evil. As opposed to just making a complete fool of himself and getting a bit of social networking exposure at the most.

Queen Week On X Factor Hits All The Right Notes As Ollie Murs Heads Internet Betting Odds

Yup, X Factor week six was given over to Queen's back catalogue of rock-inspired hits as the contestant's mentors raided the vaults of one of Britain's biggest rock bands to further the fledgling careers of their protégées. This was of course after Simon Cowell issued some sort of semi-apologetic monologue after the fall-out form the previous week's deadlock debacle that saw X Factor betting 2009 favourite, Lucie Jones, booted off as Jedward sailed through. Which everyone thinks Cowell was single-handedly responsible for; hence his face-saving explanation at the top of the show. Oh, and apart from some tutoring by Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor, the X Factor audience both in the studio and at home were privy to the first live play of the X Factor contestant's annual charity recording. This time a re-working of the Michael Jackson classic, 'You are Not Alone'; proceeds of which will go to Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

So, where's all this jiggery pokery leave us X Factor betting 2009 dabblers as we look ahead to this coming weekend's show? Well roughly unchanged from this time last week as Olly Murs stays one step ahead of the competition (the nearest challengers being Stacey Solomon and Joe McElderry) all of whom did enough to spare the embarrassment of finding themselves in the bottom two after the dust settle on Queen Week.

X Factor Betting 2009 Markets Shaken Up With Next Permanent Presenter Specials Emerging

In other X-Factor Betting 2009 markets, a number of the online bookies are suggesting that Lloyd Daniels and John and Edward are favourites to fight it out in the bottom two going into week seven of the show. Although conversely other X Factor betting 2009 bookies are declaring the opposite, insisting that their Saturday performance earned them the respect of the judging panel and public enough to see their odds of winning the show cut. Meanwhile further X Factor betting 2009 breakdowns include Top 3 Finish, Gender of Winner, Next Manager To Lose An Act, Winning Manager, First Act Announced Safe, First Manager Out, Winning Category and chances of Deadlock This Week.

Elsewhere, and X Factor betting 2009 specials have gained a lot more interest in the aftermath of Dermot O'Leary's spat with Louis Walsh a couple of weeks back, forcing online bookie Paddy Power to compile a list of potential replacements, albeit rather prematurely. Names such as Holly Willoughby, Cat Deeley, Ant and Dec, Davina McCall, Vernon Kay, Myleene Klass, Ben Shepherd and Fearne Cotton have been thrown into the hat in the top section of the betting market, whilst Russell Brand, Sinitta, Terry Wogan and Bruce Forsyth have been added as long-shots, along with Jedward of course.

Online Betting Bookies Stunned By Shock X Factor 2009 Week Five Result

Who would have thought it eh? One of the online bookies' favourites for X Factor betting 2009 glory, Lucie Jones voted off the show. Well clearly not a host of internet bookmakers like Ladbrokes, William Hill, Totesport, Paddy Power and Blue Square (the later had the Welsh singing sensation priced at 11/2 for X Factor 2009 honours before last Saturday's programme) that's for sure as Lucie not only found herself in the bottom two, but somehow losing out to love-them-or-hate-them Irish twins, John and Edward. Gobsmacked we believe is the expression on 18-year old Jones' face as the result of the public phone vote was announced live on air towards the end of the Sunday night X Factor show.

Having delivered an assured (and definitely not the worst) version of some High School Musical-esque standard in a sort of Miley Cyrus fashion – and receiving half decent feedback from the judging panel – Lucie Jones was home and dry. Or at least so we all thought, especially after Lloyd Daniels' vocal murdering of the classic 'Stand By Me'. But no. after discovering herself in the bottom two and facing the imminent sing-off to save her X Factor life she composed herself to belt out a Whitney Houston power ballad in her very own inimitable way to counter John and Edward's unique (yet very up-tempo) interpretation of Robbie Williams' 'Rock DJ'. Cue the judging panel making the ultimate decision.

Simon Cowell Inadvertantly Keeps John And Edward In X Factor 2009 Running

Now, in fairness to Simon Cowell, he had promised to decide the X Factor future of both contestants on the merits of this performance alone and dismiss everything that had gone before it. Which given his seeming contempt for the Brothers Grimes was charitable to say the very least. Yet after panel voting went to script with Louis Walsh opted to keep his own proteges in the competition and Dannii Minogue doing likewise with Jones, the emphasis was on Cheryl Cole to give her neutral opinion. Choosing to send the twins home the balance of power (as is so often the case this season) fell to Cowell.

One Of X Factor Betting 2009 Bookmakers' Favourites, Lucie Jones Voted Off Show

The odds of their fiercest opponent electing to keep John and Edward in the running were 200/1 against according to Betfair as they flagged up their then-and-there knee-jerk X Factor betting 2009 prices before the sing-off, whilst they offered a meagre 1/50 on for Jones to progress to week six of the live shows. Cowell though is nothing if not controversial, and set the proverbial cat well and truly amongst the pigeons by declaring that neither of the contestants were going to win this year's show anyway, and that if asked who he wanted to see again he defied the logic he'd hitherto displayed by admitting it would be 'Jedward'. So it then suddenly became inevitable that he'd take the already dramatic evening to deadlock. In the event the public had the final say after if manifested that Lucie had recorded the lowest number of votes after her Saturday performance and would be leaving the X Factor.

Amid the post-show furore and outpouring of mass consternation – and predictable Cowell witch-hunt – the online bookies wasted no time in revising their X Factor betting 2009 prices; as well as licking their wounds we should imagine at taking such a massive kick in the teeth at the expense of Jones. Olly Murs remains the outright favourite with Ladbrokes, closely followed by the resurgence of Danyl Johnson.

X Factor Week Four Betting Update

Rumour has it that after Week Three's live X Factor show, controversial twins John and Edward had miraculously topped the public vote to move Simon Cowell to concur that they scarily had a chance of winning this year's TV talent show if current betting patterns prevailed. In light of this X Factor betting 2009 enlightenment, odds on the Grimes siblings going all the way were slashed across the internet betting markets. Appearing to go in the opposite direction after ending up in the bottom two the previous week, the odds on hitherto X Factor betting 2009 favourite, Danyl Johnson dropped significantly going into last Saturday's show.

Going on the X Factor betting 2009 markets pre-show, and general predictions of Rachel Adedeji being booted out were pretty much spot-on as we now know, yet Joe McElderry has already been replaced in the online betting driving seat by Olly Murs, closely followed by Joe McElderry, Stacey Soloman and Lucie Jones in the latest X Factor betting pecking order at this stage of the competition.

So to week four of the X Factor 2009 live shows, which will surely be remembered for two principle points. Firstly Simon Cowell forgetting Lloyd Daniel's name/confusing him with the decidedly un-Lloyd Daniels-esque Olly Murs (one of his own stable!) as well as Jon Bon Jovi appearing on stage totally out of character for an X Factor-performing artiste. I.e, clearly minus any prescription drug use in evidence and therefore a lucid, information sharing post performance interview with the overly chummy Dermot O'Leary.

Rachel Adedeji Out As John And Edward Continue To Haunt Cowell

Aside from this, John and Edward (or 'Jedward' as they've been trendily abbreviated to by those who can't be bothered exhausting their lung's capacity by uttering their full title) are 'hanging on' for grim death. Or so you might have thought given the media's continuing witch-hunt on the entertaining duo. Although this didn'ttt stop Cowell dubbing their Halloween's screened routine as more a 'night of the living dead' as the Irish twins belted out their slickly choreographed version of one-time boyband 5ive's, 'We Will Rock You' as officially 'Rock night' was played out at X Factor Towers.

As Free Betting Online had predicted (to themselves whilst sitting at home watching the Saturday night show), both veteran sing-off star, Rachel Adedeji and Welsh newcomer, Lloyd Daniels found themselves in the unenviable position of salvaging their potentially short-lived X Factor betting 2009 careers. Which in Adedeji's case the blame well and truly lay with her mentor, Dannii Minogue's choice of song for her protege, whilst would-be fresh faced pop idol Daniels was just out of his depth with a rock challenge per se. In the event, Rachel lost out by Cowell suggesting the public vote should decide her fate after stalemate betwixt the other judges over who should get the final chop.

Looking ahead to week five of the X Factor 2009 live shows, and the omens arent particularly encouraging for Lloyd Daniels again, as Paddy Power, Ladbrokes and Coral are ganging up on him offering odds of 11/8 on him being the next elimination in the X Factor betting 2009 stakes. Elsewhere Bet365, Totesport, Boylesports and SportingBet are going against the grain by supporting John and Edward getting voted off this coming weekend, while Jamie Archer and Danyl Johnson not out of the woods by any means.

Week Three Almost Provides Biggest X Factor Betting Shock To Date

And so to the third week of X Factor 2009 live shows, where in terms of X Factor betting 2009, the biggest shock so far in the current series was delivered. Bigger even than Dannii Minogue's quasi-homophobic rant and Cheryl Cole's dawn of realisation that Simon Cowell is always right. And that ladies and gentleman of the jury, was the fact that Danyl Johnson found himself in the sing-off at the end of the 'Big Band' week. Danyl if you care to recall, is the drama teacher who already thought he had the X Factor 2009 wrapped up after his first audition as the country fawned over his, well, precocious singing and dancing gift. Trying not to look gutted by the viewers decision, he rubber stamped his progress to week four of the show by his usual contrived performance of a musical stand-first that we otherwise recognise and love, at the expense of unlikely-looking hip-hop girl ensemble, Miss Frank.

Relying heavily on the fact that TV voters had called the X Factor telephone line to register their interest in him a few times more than Miss Frank, Danyl was saved from returning to a life of abject misery and poverty to perform for us for another week. Lucky us. We can only imagine the online bookies were bricking it at the very real prospect of Johnson falling at such an unpredictably early stage and turning the X Factor betting 2009 odds on its head.

X Factor 2009's Loss Is Seaside Entertainment Industry's Gain As Rikki Loney Manfully Bows Out

For us Irish irritant twins John and Edward stole the X Factor week two live show with their sparkling, creative and original interpretation of the Britney Spears' classic, 'Oops I Did It Again'. And so they must have for many of you back at home as the love them or loathe them duo shock quiffed it through to week three as the incredibly talented Rachel Adedeji and the incredible hat-wearer Rikki Loney were left to duke it out to determine who'd be staying and who'd be taking a metaphorical early bath. Clearly overwhelmed at finding herself in the sing-off for the second successive week, Rachel stormed it to send dejected Loney back to Pontins, or wherever he cameth. Which sparked gasps amongst the X Factor betting 2009 community if no-one else.

Incidentally global singing megastar, Whitney Houston blurted out her hot new single in the same distinctly unwholesome manner in which global singing megastar Robbie Williams had done the previous week. I.e., whilst looking suspiciously under the influence of something more than prescription medication. Not to worry, as the nation's sweetheart and X Factor panel member (and one fifth of Girls Aloud), Cheryl Cole gave us a well choreographed rendition of her debut single, 'Fight For This Love' which was said to have been as little as 50% mimed in the event.
